The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. Your financial data is read-only via Plaid, and we can never move your money.
Scorify is a personal life management application built and operated by Robert Vasquez. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Scorify at scorify.to or through our mobile app.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name, stored securely in our database.
Health & Wellness Data
Scorify allows you to log habits, mood scores, supplements, medications (including medication names, schedules, and refill dates), preventive care appointments and check-ups, weight, and wellness check-in responses. This data is stored in your personal account. It is never sold and never used for advertising. With your explicit consent, some of it is shared with Anthropic to power the AI Coach. Medication names appear only in the daily briefing context, as the list of medications due today; the coach chat itself does not receive your medication list. See Data Sent to AI Coach below.
Financial Data (via Plaid)
If you connect your bank account, we use Plaid to retrieve account balances and transaction history. We receive read-only access only. We never store your bank credentials and can never initiate transactions or move money.
Journal Entries
Journal entries are stored privately in your account.
Data Sent to AI Coach (Anthropic)
When you use the AI Coach feature, the following data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized coaching responses:
This data sharing requires your explicit in-app consent before any AI Coach feature is used. You can review or revoke this consent at any time in the app under Profile → Privacy & AI Data Sharing. If you revoke consent, the AI Coach features will be disabled, but the rest of Scorify continues to work normally.

Scorify reads daily step counts, walking and running distance, workout records, and sleep data (time asleep and time in bed) from Apple Health, only with your explicit permission. The Health permission request also lists flights climbed; Scorify does not currently store or use that data. This data is stored in our database so your coach can track your goals.
Apple Health data is never sold and never used for advertising. It is not shared with any third party except Anthropic, and only when you have granted explicit in-app consent to AI Coach data sharing. With that consent granted, your step, distance, workout, and sleep data is included in the context sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate coaching responses; Anthropic does not use it to train their models.
You can grant or revoke AI Coach data sharing at any time at Profile → Privacy & AI Data Sharing, and you can revoke Scorify's access to Apple Health at any time in the iOS Health app under Sharing > Apps. Revoking stops any further data being sent. Data already sent to Anthropic is processed only to generate your coaching response — it is not used to train their models and is not retained to build a profile of you; it remains subject to Anthropic's own retention practices, described in the privacy policy linked in Section 5. Deleting your account permanently removes all Apple Health data stored by Scorify.
Scorify can monitor your iPhone's screen time using Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls and Device Activity), only with your explicit permission, which iOS asks for separately from Apple Health. You choose which apps or categories count toward your screen-time goal using Apple's private picker. That selection never leaves Apple's frameworks: Scorify receives only opaque tokens and a count of what you picked, and can never see the names of the apps you selected, which apps you use, or anything you look at.
The monitoring itself runs on your device and records only threshold events: when monitoring started for the day, timestamps as your selected usage crosses 30-minute steps, and whether your daily cap was reached. These timestamps are stored in our database to power the screen-time tracker, and, when you have granted AI Coach consent, the resulting stepped usage total for the day is included in coaching context. There is no app-level breakdown anywhere. You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings, which stops all monitoring.
Your data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — no other user can access your information. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We are an independent app and have not undergone formal security certifications such as SOC 2.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app at Profile → Delete Account. When you delete your account, all of your personal data — including habits, financial data, health data, mood logs, journal entries, coach conversations, and the coach’s long-term memories about you — is permanently removed from our servers and from the services that store them. This action cannot be undone and is processed immediately. Encrypted database backups roll off on our provider's retention schedule, currently under 30 days.
