Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. Your financial data is read-only via Plaid — we can never move your money.

Scorify is a personal life management application built and operated by Robert Vasquez. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Scorify at scorify.to or through our mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name, stored securely in our database.

Health & Wellness Data
Scorify allows you to log habits, mood scores, supplement tracking, weight, and wellness check-in responses. This data is stored in your personal account and is never shared with third parties.

Financial Data (via Plaid)
If you connect your bank account, we use Plaid to retrieve account balances and transaction history. We receive read-only access only. We never store your bank credentials and can never initiate transactions or move money.

Journal Entries
Journal entries are stored privately in your account.

Data Sent to AI Coach (Anthropic)
When you use the AI Coach feature, the following data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized coaching responses:

Habit completion history and summaries
Summaries of linked financial accounts (balances and category totals — not individual merchant-level transactions unless you ask the coach about a specific transaction)
Health metrics from connected sources (Strava, Apple Health, etc.)
Mood logs and wellness check-in responses
Journal entries you choose to share with the coach
Messages you send to the coach

This data sharing requires your explicit in-app consent before any AI Coach feature is used. You can review or revoke this consent at any time in the app under Profile → Privacy & AI Data Sharing. If you revoke consent, the AI Coach features will be disabled, but the rest of Scorify continues to work normally.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalize the Scorify experience
To calculate your Life Score across habits, health, finances, and wellness
To power your AI Coach with personalized insights
To send account-related emails
To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers the AI Coach. We send habit summaries, financial summaries, health metrics, mood logs, journal entries you choose to share, and your coach messages to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models via our API usage. Privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Sharing requires your explicit in-app consent and can be revoked at any time.
Plaid — bank connectivity. Read-only access to balances and transactions.
Supabase — database and authentication. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Mem0 — AI memory layer for coach context across conversations.
Google Calendar — optional integration, requires explicit authorization, can be disconnected anytime.
Resend — email delivery.
Vercel — app hosting.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — no other user can access your information. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We are an independent app and have not undergone formal security certifications such as SOC 2.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app at Profile → Delete Account. When you delete your account, all of your personal data — including habits, financial data, health data, mood logs, journal entries, and coach conversations — is permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone and is processed immediately, with full deletion completed within 30 days across all backups.

Disconnect Plaid, Strava, or Google Calendar at any time from within the app
Grant or revoke AI Coach data sharing consent at any time in the app at Profile → Privacy & AI Data Sharing

7. Children's Privacy

Scorify is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 17.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users via email for material changes.
